- Place the flour, cornstarch, cream of tartar, baking powder, and baking soda into a bowl, mix to combine, and add into the bowl of your stand mixer.
- Mix everything until everything is incorporated, and then fold in all of the chocolate chip add-ins.
- Dampen your hands with water ever so slightly and then take two tablespoons of dough per cookie and roll them out into smooth and round balls.
- Place each cookie 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake on the middle rack of your oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven, place them onto a cookie rack, and let them cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
